Welcome to the website of St Mary's, Sileby, All Saints', Cossington and All Saints', Seagrave. Although three separate churches, many of our activities are as one united benefice. We are three friendly evangelical churches, situated between Leicester and Loughborough. We seek to glorify God in all that we do and have an especial emphasis on the Bible which we believe is God's word and the principal way He speaks to us today. We welcome all those who want to explore the Christian faith and those who want to be built up in their faith.
We hold services each Sunday in each village In Sileby services are held at 11.00 a.m. and 6.30 p.m., in Cossington at 9.30 a.m. and in Seagrave at 5.00 p.m.: see Sunday Services for details. The 11.00 a.m. services in Sileby include a manned Crèche for 0 - 3s and Cornerstones Children's Groups for 3 - 16s. There is provision for children once a month at Cossington and Seagrave. During the week there are Young People's groups for 11 - 14s, and 14 - 18s which meet on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings respectively. There are several home-groups for adults meeting around the Benefice. These meet on various evenings and afternoons including a mums' home-group which meets on a Tuesday afternoon at 1.30 p.m. We hold regular events and courses including Christianity Explored for those wanting to find out more about the Christian faith and the relevance it has. We start with a meal at 7.15 for 7.30 p.m. This is followed by a 20‑minute DVD which presents some part of the Christian faith and a discussion time in small groups. No comment is out of bounds, it's fine to question, disagree with or downright dislike what's being presented. The evening finishes with coffee by 9.30 p.m. at the latest. Please be assured of a warm welcome at any of our church services or activities.
