Church Service Times

There are four services each Sunday in the Benefice. 
Two Morning Services: All Saints', Cossington at 9.30 a.m. and St Mary's, Sileby at 11.00 a.m. and two Evening Services: All Saints', Seagrave at 5.00 p.m. and St Mary's, Sileby at 6.30 p.m.

Services include provision for children: each week at St Mary's, Sileby at 11.00 a.m
in the Family Service on the first Sunday in the month at All Saints', Seagrave
in the Family Service on the second Sunday in the month at All Saints', Cossington

For the Cossington Family Service on the second Sunday in most months, all ages will be together for about half the time then children will go into the Jubilee Hall during the sermon.  There will be provision for young people (11 - 14s).  The whole service will last for about an hour and be followed by high quality refreshments.

 

The 11.00 Service at Sileby is geared towards families each week.  On the fourth Sunday in the month, the All-Age Service lasts for no more than an hour with everyone staying together throughout.  During the other 11.00 Services, there is a manned Crèche for 0  3s and Cornerstones Children's Groups for 3 - 16s.

First@Five is held on the first Sunday of most months at Seagrave.  This is a Family Service lasting about 45 minutes preceded by children's tea from 4.30 p.m.  It comprises some more traditional (but accessible) hymns and some more modern songs with a short talk for all ages.  Most months this will be followed by a brief activity for children with a short address for adults.

Songs of Praise is held on the second Sunday of every month at Seagrave and comprises a few hymns and a talk preceded by tea and cakes from 4.00 p.m.  The service lasts for about 45 minutes.

 

The other Services at All Saints', Seagrave will be preceded by tea and cakes at 4.30 p.m.

The other Services at St Mary's, Sileby will be followed by coffee and biscuits.
