There are games and activities, friendship and fun and a chance to see what God says in the Bible. Each term there'll also be trips out and special social events. |
Y kicks off with an informal meal together - good simple nosh in high quantities! After that we have a look at the Bible together - a chance to think about some of the big questions in life. We finish with a game or two. |

This group meets (on Wednesdays) in term-time and throughout most of the school holidays from 9.45 to 11.30 a.m. in All Saints' Church, Seagrave. It is for babies and any pre-school children along with their parent, grandparent or carer. It was started so that children and their parents could get to know each other before starting school; now people come along from surrounding villages as well as from Seagrave. There is a theme for each week based on a verse from the Bible; a short talk, singing, craft and refreshments are included. The programme is planned by Hilary Ayling of SOaR (Schools, Outreach and Resources) who sometimes comes along to lead the session.
Wednesday Club was highlighted by the judges of "Calor Village of the Year 2008" competition when selecting Seagrave as Winner in the "People" category.
